Praise for Rei as an undergraduate student staff member with Webster University’s Office of Housing & Residential Life:

Throughout the past three years that I have worked with Rei, I have seen a dedication to professionalism and a commitment toward learning (while exceeding performance expectations) that I can honestly say I have not seen in any other student. Rei innately understands that there is always room to grow, and takes any constructive feedback to heart. Rei is always on top of anything she is asked to do, and genuinely cares about the work she is doing which is not something that can be said of every employee. Additionally, she takes this caring beyond the work itself, consistently going above and beyond to assist students or families with whatever they need. As you can see, I have nothing but glowing things to say about Rei. I believe that she is going to be a positive influence on our field and I am excited to see where her career takes her. Anna Dickherber, Director, Housing and Residential Life

As a graduate assistant with SIUE’s University Housing as an Assistant Community Director:

Rei has demonstrated that she excels at being strategic and coming up with the most practical and efficient solutions to different problems or challenges.  Rei did not back down from a challenge this year, and took everything in stride. Rei did an excellent job taking on additional responsibilities such as working with PAC, planning Facilitated Programs with the RAs, planning Cougarpalooza, and acting as a probation intervention officer for a student. Rei has done an excellent job working with students and directing them to appropriate resources. Rei represents herself well, as well as the department she works for. She wants to do right by others, and it shows through her quality of work and level of excellence she expects from herself. She is a great representation of a SA professional and will continue to grow with new experiences. Christine St. Louis, Community Director, Prairie Hall

As the ACUHO-I ResLife Intern for Summer 2018 with Washington University in St. Louis’ Office of Residential Life:

Rei is very organized in thought and execution. She is a very thoughtful person who always has positive contributions to add to a conversation. Rei works extremely hard and gets things done quickly and efficiently. She takes feedback well and seized every moment of her experience. Rei has great creativity and ideas and does well working with people at all levels of experience. She did well co-supervising the summer RA staff and in a short period of time our entire department saw her as a valuable asset to everything she worked on. — Ashya Majied, Assistant Director of Residential Education
